Job summary

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer to join our Frederick, MD office on a variety of site development projects for commercial and government clients. You’ll join a collaborative team and apply the latest technology to solve design challenges across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 0-2 years of experience and may hold or be pursuing an EIT.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• EIT strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Site/civil development including grading and road design.
• Prepare calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate on design teams to develop construction documents.
• May conduct code research, write specs, obtain permits.
