Job Description

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer to join our Leesburg, VA office. The role involves working on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design. Responsibilities may also include conducting permitting and code research, writing specifications, and preparing permit applications. The engineer may analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models for storm water and watershed master planning.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Previous internship experience in Site/Civil preferred.
• Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with CADD.
• Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred but not required.
