Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Sheet Metal Installer I to assist in fabricating, assembling, and installing ductwork and HVAC components on commercial sites, under direct supervision.

You'll learn dry-side HVAC techniques, read basic blueprints, and follow SMACNA standards while maintaining safety and quality on active job sites across our markets.

Entry-level role offers mentorship, structured training, PPE, and opportunities for growth within our nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years in construction or related field; HVAC experience not required.
• High school diploma or GED; trade training a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal ductwork per blueprints.
• Support layout, cutting, bending, and sealing of ductwork.
• Prepare site, transport materials, maintain a safe work area.
• Help load/unload materials and assist with rigging.
• Participate in safety meetings and wear PPE.
• Document basic work activities and material usage.
• Learn dry-side HVAC applications through on-the-job training.
