Entry Level Technician – Kahlig Auto Group

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks.
• Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to the service advisor.
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman.
• Provide labor time estimates to the service advisor.
• Monitor repair times and update the service advisor regularly.
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation.
• Complete documentation for client repairs.
• Attend company and factory training sessions.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (such as hazardous waste disposal).

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED, or 6 to 12 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Trade school training is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Operator Driver License required. State Inspection License is preferred but not required.
