Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Service Tech Trainee. This entry-level role trains you to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fueling and charging equipment, with training, lodging and meals paid by the company.

You will complete service calls at diverse sites, travel locally, pass a drug screen and background check, and advance through on-the-job training to become a certified service technician. You may work outdoors in all weather and lift 50-75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Willing to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete petroleum service calls for customers at various sites.
• Complete service call paperwork after each call.
• Communicate with service dispatcher and manager.
• Explain technical issues in non-technical terms to customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair petroleum equipment and POS systems.
• Install, program and test new equipment; perform maintenance.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs.
