Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking an entry-level Service Tech Trainee to train for routine maintenance and troubleshooting on customer equipment. The company covers training, lodging, and meals during sessions, with hours typically around 40 per week and an on-call rotation after training.

You will travel daily within local areas, work outdoors in varied weather, and learn to service fueling and POS equipment across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• You will be required to pass a drug screen & background check for this position.
• Daily local travel.
• Lifting 50-75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete petroleum service calls for customers at retail stations, commercial sites, hospitals, travel stops, and government facilities.
• Complete all service call paperwork after each call.
• Communicate with service dispatcher and manager.
• Explain technical issues in non-technical terms to customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units and POS systems.
• Install, program and test new petroleum equipment and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
