Job summary

Employers Overload in Camas WA is seeking a Semiconductor Wafer Processing Operator to join our production team. In this entry-level position, you’ll operate specialized equipment and follow detailed production processes to help manufacture semiconductor wafers in a cleanroom environment.

You will work closely with engineering and quality teams to meet high standards for quality, safety, and performance, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, semiconductor technology, or a related field is a plus.
• Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes such as photolithography, etching, deposition, and cleaning is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor semiconductor processing equipment used for photolithography, etching, deposition, cleaning, and inspection.
• Follow established procedures and process instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality production.
• Perform inspections and measurements during production to verify wafers meet required specifications.
• Record process data, equipment settings, and production information accurately in the manufacturing execution system (MES).
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and calibration to keep systems running efficiently.
• Help identify equipment or process issues and work with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Follow all cleanroom, safety, and environmental procedures, including proper handling of materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve quality, efficiency, and yield.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to support smooth production operations.
