Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit in Auburn, MA is seeking an entry-level Security Officer to safeguard people and property. You will monitor premises, enforce rules, assist visitors, and respond to incidents with a professional presence.

Shifts include Sunday 11:30AM-6:30PM and Mon-Wed 9:00AM-5:00PM (31 hours/week); pay rate is $18.03/hr. Must be at least 18, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance: monitor security cameras and patrol premises to detect suspicious activity.
• Access control: enforce visitor passes and restrict access to authorized personnel.
• Emergency response: respond to alarms and incidents, referencing authorities as needed.
• Incident reporting: document incidents and safety concerns clearly and accurately.
• Patrolling: conduct foot or vehicle patrols to secure entrances, parking lots, and perimeters.
• Customer service: greet and assist visitors and employees with professionalism.
• Safety inspections: identify hazards and report safety issues.
• Conflict resolution: handle minor disputes to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaboration: coordinate with security staff and responders as needed.
