Job summary

Securitas is seeking entry level Security Officers to join our team in the United States. The role offers weekly pay, a strong benefits package, and growth opportunities within the company.

All positions require a background check, drug screen, valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma or GED, along with excellent communication and customer service skills. Officers observe, report incidents, and ensure the safety of client sites; roles may be full-time or part-time with weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hard hat and long sleeves.

What?

Security Officer Positions

The pay range for these positions is $14.49-$16.00 per hour.

Who?

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a lifetime background check and drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have excellent communication, customer service, and de-escalation skills.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Must be comfortable and efficient using computers.
• Position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
• Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, a hard hat, and long sleeves.

Our policy requires professional appearance: Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.

All Security Positions are Full Time and Part Time -All SHIFTS AVAILABLE (weekends included)

Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer include but are not limited to:

Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.

Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.

Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
