Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist to join our Wet Chemistry team in an environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands-on analysis of samples, ensuring integrity and accuracy of data that informs community health and environmental safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related STEM field and the ability to operate in a lab environment with PPE provided. This is a full-time, evening shift position with opportunities for growth and skill

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related STEM field is required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a laboratory setting, including standing for long periods and wearing PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations and results clearly in lab records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments as needed.
