Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC seeks a Scientist to join its environmental testing laboratory in Westborough, MA. You will perform hands-on analysis using GC-MS and established chemistry methods to ensure high-quality environmental data supporting community health and safety.

We provide training, a structured laboratory environment, and a full-time role with compensation of $20.20 per hour for Friday–Monday shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field (or equivalent) with 8 chemistry credit hours with labs.
• Ability to work in a lab environment, including standing for long periods and wearing PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).
• Training provided; willingness to learn and perform hands-on analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on analysis in the laboratory using established chemistry methods.
• Use GC-MS to analyze environmental samples for contaminants and report results.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality laboratory records.
