Job summary

Custom Marine currently has an opening for a Saw Operator to work on 1st shift in our Neenah, WI facility. This entry‑level manufacturing role involves reading blueprints, setting up saws, and accurately cutting mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to print.

You will operate punching and cutting equipment, weigh and measure parts, and keep a clean, safe work area while supporting production goals. Equal opportunity employer; health and retirement benefits included.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
• Must read a tape measure, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Ability to measure accurately and operate production saws.
• Capable of using hand and power tools.
• Basic machine operating skills on manual equipment.
• High mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, department instructions, routings and drawings.
• Accurately cut/saw mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum per print.
• Set up saw speeds, feeds, stops, and coolant levels.
• Operate punch press as needed.
• Inspect cut pieces and ensure conformance to specs using measuring tools.
• Safely handle long steel lengths and maintain an organized work area.
• Work 40 hours per week and assist with other duties as assigned.
