KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an entry-level Safety Inspector for an on-site, direct-hire role in High Point, NC. You will assist with daily inspections, identify hazards, maintain OSHA compliance, and help build a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must reside within a 20–30 minute commute of High Point, NC.
• OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 a plus).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of industrial, construction, or safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily inspections of workspaces, machinery, and equipment.
• Observe field crews and floor personnel for adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE use.
• Support audits of high-risk tasks requiring specialized permits, including Working at Heights and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or hazards.
• Document safety observations and report concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with incident reporting and follow-up as needed.
• Promote safe work habits and a proactive safety culture among team members.
