Job summary

Qualifications

  • Two years experience in a printing or Bindery environment preferred.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as operation and maintenance instructions.
  • Must adhere to all Safety and OSHA standards.
  • Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Set up equipment at the beginning of each job according to the job ticket specifications.
  • Inspect equipment and address safety concerns.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; perform preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Monitor quality, output and productivity; adjust during operation to meet specs.
  • Detect defective materials and report to the department manager.
  • Train and monitor PHI recycling; manage workflow end-to-end.
  • Operate at a productivity level of 70% minimum or better.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
