Job summary

Bascom Hunter is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to support RF circuit design and testing for defense applications. You will assist in developing amplifiers, filters, mixers, and antennas, and help characterize performance in the lab.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 0–2 years of RF experience, and familiarity with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes. U.S. citizenship and potential security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required or related field.
• 0–2 years RF circuit design/testing experience; defense industry a plus.
• Experience with RF theory, transmission lines, and RF system architecture.

Responsibilities

• RF circuit design and testing support for defense-focused projects.
• Operate lab equipment: spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, scopes and generators.
• Prototype development and documentation of schematics and test plans.
• Collaborate with RF, electrical, mechanical engineers and project managers.
• Identify and troubleshoot RF issues during design, testing and integration.
