Job summary

Steamatic of Greater Greenville is seeking a Restoration Technician to perform water and fire restoration, cleaning tasks, and equipment maintenance at client sites in the Upstate. This full-time position offers on-site work with training provided; prior experience not required.

The ideal candidate is dependable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to follow instructions in a team setting. Competitive hourly pay and opportunity for certification reimbursement available.

We’re looking for an individual to fill a position as a Restoration Technician for Steamatic Restoration and Cleaning. As a technician, you would be performing water restoration, fire restoration or cleaning duties at the work site. You would also maintain the equipment, supplies, vehicles, and facility to properly perform the required duties. We provide training and tools for you to succeed in this role, so previous experience is not required!

The Technician is expected to be able to work with minimal supervision. Candidates should possess a high level of aptitude, strong problem solving skills, and be dependable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Techs may specialize in cleaning or restoration services depending on the franchise organization or they may work in all services. The tech will follow instructions of the Lead Techs and Ops Mgr.
• Water extraction
• Demo and light construction
• Set up, monitoring and break down of drying equipment.
• Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning.
• HVAC and air duct cleaning.
• Manipulating furniture on site.
• Inventory and pack out when needed.
• Structure cleaning after smoke damage.
• Keep work site, vehicle and shop clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver License, ability to legally work in the US and pass a criminal background check
• Ability to perform the physical work as required including lifting 50 lbs.
• Previous work history to demonstrate consistency and a good work ethic
• Ability to use, learn and apply current and future technology as it is introduced

Compensation:

• $15-17/hr based on experience
• After 60 days, an employee is eligible for Supplemental Insurance (Life, Accidental, Short-term, and more) — Aflac

Salary: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
