Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and executing clinical trials in compliance with GCP and FDA regulations.
• Perform patient assessments, record vitals, and document findings in EDC systems.
• Screen, enroll, and obtain informed consent from eligible participants.
• Administer study medications or treatments under PI supervision.
• Monitor patient safety and report adverse events to the study team.

About the Role:

Stryde Research in Plano, TX is looking for a passionate and driven Entry-Level Research Nurse to join our growing clinical team. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination and execution of clinical research trials in compliance with GCP and FDA regulations
• Perform patient assessments, collect vital signs, and document findings accurately in electronic data capture (EDC) systems
• Perform Venipuncture, blood collection, IV line placement and infusion
• Screen, enroll, and obtain informed consent from eligible study participants
• Administer study medications or treatments under the direction of the Principal Investigator
• Collect and process biological specimens including blood draws and lab samples
• Monitor patient safety and report adverse events to the study team and sponsor
• Maintain accurate and thorough source documentation and study records

Requirements:

• Active RN or LVN license in the state of Texas
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• 0-2 years of nursing experience; clinical research experience a plus but not required
• Familiarity with GCP guidelines and ICH regulations is a bonus
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills
• Comfortable performing phlebotomy and other clinical procedures
• Compassionate, patient-focused communicator with a team-player attitude
