Job summary

Citi in Los Angeles is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to support sales and service activities, building customer relationships and loyalty. The role collaborates with the customer service team to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities include assisting with basic account openings, delivering service, processing transactions, and creating sales opportunities while following bank policies and regulatory standards. Part-time hours may apply.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customer
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints promptly
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars and campaigns
• Adhere to operational controls and regulatory procedures to safeguard assets
• Assess risk and ensure regulatory compliance in business decisions
