Job summary

American AgCredit is seeking an entry level to early career real estate appraisal assistant. You will work toward state licensing while supporting licensed appraisers in preparing inspections and reports on loans with pledged collateral, both new and servicing.

You will collaborate across lending, underwriting, and operations to ensure high-quality service. The role requires readiness to complete education requirements for appraisal licensing, with supervision from a licensed appraiser, and may

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required for state licensing.
• At least 1 year related experience desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed staff in developing real estate appraisals and gather data.
• Collect sales information from county, MLS, and realtor sites.
• Research, verify and enter sales into database; assist with area/neighborhood data.
• Begin and complete education requirements for appraiser licensing.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Respond to staff with information about appraisal programs and projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
