Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, or rebuilding mechanical equipment and systems.
• Preference for welding and cutting experience.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair rail equipment per regulations and company procedures.
• Complete inspections, work orders, and forms accurately and timely.
• Repair and test machinery and components related to rail equipment.
• Work with car and locomotive systems, sub-systems, and components in maintenance tasks.
