Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Radiation Therapist I to deliver prescribed radiation therapy under supervision, utilizing CT simulators and a range of equipment. This full-time, Monday–Friday position offers a variable start time between 7am and 12pm at the Proton Center.

Required: bachelor's or associate degree in Radiation Therapy, ARRT registry eligible within 1 year, Washington licensure, strong communication, and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field required/preferred.
• Registry eligible and must be registered within 1 year of employment in Radiation Therapy and Technology by ARRT.
• WA State License required at time of employment or eligibility criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provides radiation therapy to patients using various equipment and delivers a planned course.
• Evaluates daily patient condition and provides emotional and psychological support as needed.
• Refer patients to departmental staff and other health care professionals.
• Maintain detailed daily records of treatment-related data.
• Assist in patient positioning and treatment field localization with CT simulators and related tech.
