About Our Client: Pave Talent is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturing company with multiple facilities across the United States. Our client has been in operation for over a century and is known for their high-calcium lime products. They are now expanding their quality team and seeking a motivated Entry-Level Quality Engineer to join their state-of-the-art laboratory facility in Ste. Genevieve, MO.

The Opportunity: This is a newly created position perfect for ambitious engineering graduates looking to launch their careers! The role focuses on ensuring product quality through the monitoring and maintenance of critical process equipment and instrumentation. We're seeking candidates who are mechanically inclined and eager to develop hands-on technical skills in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot quality control equipment, including laser particle size analyzers and automated sampling systems
  • Learn to maintain and calibrate critical quality instruments across multiple facilities
  • Create instrument and troubleshooting guides with guidance from experienced team members
  • Collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Maintenance departments
  • Work alongside OEMs and contractors to understand equipment performance
  • Travel to sister facilities (20%) to support quality initiatives
  • Contribute to identifying new equipment solutions to enhance product quality

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Engineering ONLY
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands-on with instruments
  • No prior work experience required - this position is designed for recent graduates!
  • Independent problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
