Lehi Valley Trading Company seeks a Quality Control Technician in Mesa, AZ. This entry-level role performs standard daily quality control tests to verify that quality systems meet specifications for daily food production.

Responsibilities include documentation, system checks, product attribute verification, and assisting with water/air quality and ATP testing. Requires high school diploma and basic software skills; driving and color vision required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the food industry with knowledge of quality control is desired.
• Must have good communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to learn product/process attributes and evaluate quality.
• Strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
• Experience or training to guide employees is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel, Outlook, and internet tools; math skills needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Records and compiles documentation and reports each day.
• Performs checks on manufacturing systems including scale calibrations, weight checks, metal detection tests, chemical concentration verification, and work area inspections.
• Monitors product quality to ensure adherence to specifications (weight, smell, color, taste, texture).
• Assists with water, air quality and microbiological testing (ATP).
• Maintains documentation and records testing results as required by governing agencies.
• Promotes quality standards and food safety practices with production staff.
• Reports issues to managers for corrective action.
