Job summary

Central Stone Company in Antonia, MO, is hiring an Entry Level Quality Control Specialist for our Antonia Quarry. This full-time, hourly position runs Monday-Friday, 1st shift, with occasional Saturdays as needed. You will obtain samples, perform tests, prepare reports, and help maintain test equipment.

Candidates must be safety-focused, able to work outdoors in all weather, and have a valid driver’s license. Lifting up to 75 pounds and MODOT training are required.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused and attentive to procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Able to lift heavy samples up to 75 pounds.
• Will pass and maintain Certified Aggregate Technician training for MODOT.

Responsibilities

• Obtains samples and performs tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate.
• Prepares reports and maintains accurate records per procedures.
• Assists in operation and maintenance of test equipment for accuracy.
• Observes safety rules and keeps areas clean and orderly.
• Fills in at the scale house when needed.
