Caton Connector Corp is seeking an Entry Level Quality Control Inspector I to perform routine visual, dimensional, and basic functional inspections under established plans. The role verifies that inspected product meets requirements, maintains complete records, and escalates suspected nonconformances.

The position is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, pays $23 to $25 per hour, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent with manufacturing or inspection exposure preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma preferred; hands-on manufacturing or inspection experience helpful.
• Experience reading drawings, specs and work instructions is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document results.
• Basic computer skills and clear communication are required.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect in-process and finished products against drawings, specs, and plans.
• Use calibrated measuring tools and verify tool status before use.
• Record results, traceability, and acceptance data in required systems.
• Identify nonconforming product and notify Quality/Production as needed.
• Follow inspection methods and quality procedures; escalate unclear criteria or out-of-tolerance results.
• Communicate findings to Production, Quality, Engineering, and Materials to support timely resolution.
• Perform routine sampling and basic tests as specified by plans.
• Assist with inspection reports, audits, and first article records.
