Job summary

The Commonwealth of Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts is seeking an entry-level Public Accounts Auditor to perform basic audit procedures under direct supervision. You will assist with on-site audits, prepare electronic workpapers, and document findings with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.

The role offers a mix of on-site work and telecommuting, with routine travel to counties across Kentucky. A bachelor’s degree with accounting coursework is required, and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree including twenty semester hours or thirty quarter hours in accounting.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Travel to and from work sites is routine for on-site audits.
