Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for the Texas region to join our team. You will support the project team with daily coordination, maintain document control, oversee procurement, and perform QA/QC tasks while coordinating subcontractors and conducting survey/layout activities.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and relocation may be required depending on project location.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project engineering or construction.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
