Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level construction professional to join the Advanced Facilities Group on projects in the Toledo, OH area. You will learn on-site processes, support the project team with manpower, materials and equipment, and help prepare daily and weekly progress reports.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, strong communication skills, and familiarity with MS Office. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety and quality plans and culture.
• Familiar with QA/QC concepts and reporting.
• Understanding of estimating and change management processes.
• On-site collaboration with project team and trades.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.
• Lean construction practices and productivity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans on site.
• Participate in QA/QC planning for tasks.
• Assist estimating and change management with take-offs and proposals.
• Work on site to support crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Prepare reports: daily, weekly, manpower, and schedules.
• Maintain procurement logs and track shop drawings and deliveries.
• Contribute to meetings and disseminate project docs.
• Apply Lean practices to regular activities.
