Garney Construction is hiring a Project Engineer to serve as the backbone of the project management team, ensuring the job stays on track with a strong emphasis on detail and organization. You will support the project management team with materials purchasing, documentation, and acting as a liaison with owners, architects, and engineers.

Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering, construction management, or related degree and must be willing to travel and work the hours needed for project

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Willing to travel and work the days/hours required to ensure project success.
• Entry-level project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create Submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate projects from start to finish; assist with estimating; project setup & closeout; support field operations; maintain detailed job costs.
• Work professionally with owners and engineers; assist in scheduling projects and crews.
