Job summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer to act as the backbone of the project management team and keep jobs on track. You will assist with negotiating materials, maintaining documents, and coordinating with owners, architects, and engineers to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or construction management background and is willing to travel. Entry-level PM experience is encouraged, with a strong growth path within Garney.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Entry-level project management experience acceptable for this role.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with negotiating and purchasing materials.
• Maintain documents and act as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Create submittals and RFIs; coordinate projects from start to finish.
• Assist with estimating; project setup & closeout; support field operations; maintain detailed job costs.
• Work professionally with owners and engineers; assist in scheduling projects and crews.
