Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is hiring for an Hourly Production Utility position at our facility. This entry-level role involves machine operation, cleaning, and forklift tasks as business demands.

The ideal candidate can work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime, with a high school diploma and English proficiency. Prior paper mill or technical study and ability to work in a hot, noisy environment are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• 2 years paper mill/industrial manufacturing work experience or 2 years of study in a technical field or 2 years of related military experience.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, humid, noisy environments and wear PPE.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple production tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate machines and assist with forklift operations.
• General cleaning and related production duties as required.
