Job summary

Colonial Group in Alabama is seeking an entry-level Hourly Production Utility. Responsibilities include performing multiple production tasks, general cleaning, machine operation, and forklift tasks as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, willingness to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Prior paper mill/industrial experience or technical study is preferred; safety PPE will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• At least 2 years paper mill/industrial manufacturing work experience or 2 years of study in a technical field or 2 years of related military experience.
• Able to work in hot, cold, humid, noisy industrial environment with or without accommodation.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks repetitively for extended periods.
• Willing to wear PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, etc.) as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple and varied production tasks as needed.
• General cleaning and upkeep of the production area.
• Machine operation and forklift operation as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
