Job description

Position Title: Entry Level Utility Production

Pay Rate: $19.83

Category/Shift: Hourly Shifts – 2 available

  • 3pm-11pm (2nd shift)
  • 11pm – 7am (3rd shift)

Note: Some shifts require mandatory overtime.

Physical Location:

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Following all safety rules and practices;
  • Reading factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to learn customer requirements;
  • Identifying stock and products that correspond to work orders;
  • Performing assigned duties to ensure that production needs are met;
  • Assisting other associates as needed;
  • Monitoring and operating waste water system;
  • Cleaning out filter press for waste water system;
  • Monitoring the starch kitchen and operations;
  • Monitoring inventory and waste water chemicals;
  • Accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment;
  • Inspecting, counting, stacking, and unitizing products according to customer specifications;
  • Identifying and segregating nonconforming (reject) products and materials;
  • Keeping the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations;
  • Maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping;
  • Maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates;
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervision.

NOTE: Utility labor is the full-time entry level position for new manufacturing associates.
