Sierra Pacific Industries, a fourth-generation family-owned lumber and millwork company, offers multiple entry-level production openings at our Chinese Camp sawmill in California. This role provides strong opportunities for advancement, with on-site training and a path to learn across production, maintenance, and supervision.

Teammates will shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts, stack lumber, and learn to operate various machines in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Recent related work history and verifiable references preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Start in an entry-level production role with opportunities to learn across plant sites.
• Learn to operate and fill in on various machine stations in the sawmill.
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts.
• Stack and pile lumber.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with possible overtime and weekend shifts.
