Qualifications

• Experience reading a tape measure or other measurement devices.
• Basic math skills.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred; 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Works on processes within assigned department, including insertion of materials, clamping, fitting parts, and use of hand tools.
• Cuts materials to specified dimensions using a tape measure and verifies measurements.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Performs bench-type assemblies using hand tools and electronic/pneumatic tools.
• Notifies supervisor of mechanical, material, or safety issues.
• Packs finished goods and labels/packages appropriately.
