Job summary

American Gypsum is seeking a production assistant to help manufacture wallboard at our Gypsum, CO facility. You will support wet-end or dry-end production, contribute to a one-team environment, and participate in safety programs. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful, but training is provided.

These roles involve rotating day and night shifts every four weeks, require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and offer benefits including HSA, FSA, 401(k), paid leave, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in plant safety programs.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and/or complete repetitive tasks; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of wallboard.
• Work in either wet-end or dry-end production.
• Be flexible with duties and be willing to be trained.
