Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking entry-level Hourly Production staff for the Munising, MI facility to support operations.

This role provides on-the-job training and the chance to learn wrap and labeling processes while contributing to a collaborative, high-achievement culture. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be able to work rotating shifts up to 16 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and safely operate manual and powered equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, 5-7 days per week, up to 16-hour shifts, when required.
• Ability to safely lift/move weights up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment using high-speed moving equipment while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to safely operate manual and powered material handling equipment (hand dolly, chain hoist, etc).
• Proven record of maintaining acceptable attendance.
• Ability to read, record data, and understand/follow procedures and instructions.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Support the safety program and ensure safe work practices.
• Learn several different jobs (Roll Wrap, Lan Wrap, Rewinder Helper).
• Accurate computer entries, tagging and labeling.
• Wrap rolls per customer specifications.
• Assist operations crews and learn the process/equipment.
