Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Mt Jewett MDF Plant in Mt. Jewett, PA is hiring entry-level Production Operators. Starting pay is $20.00/hour with potential to grow to $21.50/hour as you advance to Operator I, plus eligibility for variable pay based on performance.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and more. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8 hours with no rotation, operating indoors/outdoors in a loud industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months or more of work experience.
• Experience in industrial and/or manufacturing environments helpful.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.
• Meet or exceed production and quality goals.
• Perform heavy-duty housekeeping to maintain machinery and plant cleanliness.
• Assist in operating production equipment and fill in for other operators during breaks or absences.
• Handle tasks such as pulling/pushing and lifting up to 50 lbs., walking and climbing in a noisy environment.
