Trademark Metals Recycling is hiring for outdoor general yard and warehouse labor. This role offers weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and production bonuses, with benefits starting after 30 days and support from a stable parent company, Nucor.

No prior experience required; paid training is provided, and safety is the top priority on site. You will contribute to efficient handling of scrap metal in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general yard and warehouse labor tasks.
• Weigh, sort, and move scrap metal and materials.
• Operate a forklift or receive training to operate one.
• Inspect incoming scrap and assist customers with what is accepted.
• Cross-train and support teammates as needed.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Follow safety rules and look out for yourself and your teammates


• Work outdoors doing general yard and warehouse labor


• Sweep, shovel, and keep work areas clean and safe


• Help weigh, sort, and move scrap metal and materials


• Operate a forklift (or learn - we train)


• Inspect incoming scrap and help customers understand what we accept


• Cross-train and help where needed - no two days are the same

This is real, physical work - not a desk job. The harder you work, the more you earn. No experience required - we provide paid training.

Job Requirements - What We're Looking For

• Dependable workers who show up on time and ready to work


• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and weather


• Able to stand or walk most of the shift (up to 12 hours)


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs


• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed


• Previous general labor, warehouse, construction, or industrial experience is a plus - but not required. We train the right people


• Forklift experience is a plus (not required)


• Bilingual is a plus


• Must pass hair drug test and background check
