Job summary

OSI Group in Chicago is hiring for entry-level general labor roles on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will load, unload, lift and move materials, while maintaining a safe work environment and following policies and GMP procedures.

Responsibilities include supporting setup, inspecting equipment, assisting operators, keeping area clean, and reporting safety concerns. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 0–1 years' experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at machine speed.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Job is an individual contributor with no direct reports.
• Assist with operation setup lines and area according to procedures.
• Verify correct setup and running of equipment to obtain desired results.
• Inspect product periodically to verify specifications are met.
• Assist the operator in troubleshooting equipment when necessary.
• Be able to perform operator job functions when not present.
• Follow Safety lockout/tag-out procedures and report issues to management.
• Keep area clean and follow GMPs; work safely and adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
