Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. seeks an entry-level Assembler to support mass-production of windows, doors, and related components on the assembly line in Mitchell, SD. You will perform repetitive assembly duties, attend to machines, measure products, and ensure parts are fastened according to instructions.

No formal education or experience is required, though prior carpentry experience is helpful. Overtime may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cuts products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform fastening operations on the assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Works in an environment where tasks change with product models.
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas per safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
