Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring multiple entry-level production positions at our Anderson, CA sawmill. Training and opportunities for advancement are provided; starting wage is $23.53 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent related work experience
• Excellent verifiable work references and attendance record
• Demonstrated ability to be highly productive in repetitious work

Responsibilities

• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our facility
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
• Stack and pile lumber
• Work may be fast-paced and physically demanding
• Overtime and weekend shifts may occur during busy times

About The Position

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry‑level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative manufacturing facility
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
• Stack and pile lumber
• The work is fast‑paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times
