Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring for multiple entry-level production labor positions at our Noti, Oregon sawmill. The role offers training and potential advancement within the plant, with tasks across production, equipment maintenance, and supervision.

Starting pay is $23.53 per hour, with benefits including health coverage, a retirement plan with company contributions, paid vacation and holidays. Safety and conformity to company policies are required, and EOE applies.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform multiple tasks across plant stations.
• Fill in on various machine stations within the sawmill.
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts.
• Stack and pile lumber.
• Work is fast-paced and sometimes demanding.
• Overtime and weekend shifts during busy times.
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times

Currently, we have openings for multiple entry-level production labor positions at our sawmill in Noti, Oregon.

About the Position

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision


• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our sawmill


• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts


• Stack and pile lumber


• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding


• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments


• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times

Qualifications
