Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Anderson, CA is seeking entry-level production workers for our sawmill. You will learn to operate multiple stations, shovel and stack lumber, and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Opportunities to advance exist as you gain skills across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our manufacturing facility.
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts.
• Stack and pile lumber.
• Work may be fast-paced and demanding with repetitive lifting.
• Shifts may include overtime and weekend work during busy production times.
• Operate in both hot and cold work environments.

About The Position

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry‑level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative manufacturing facility

• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times
