Georgia-Pacific Toledo is seeking an Entry-Level Process Engineer to support safe, reliable operation of a Kraft linerboard mill. You will analyze process performance, troubleshoot issues, support improvements, and help optimize quality, cost, throughput, energy, and environmental performance.

You will learn mill systems while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Engineering teams to deliver practical solutions and document processes for continuous

Qualifications

• Interest in manufacturing and process optimization.
• Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and act on findings.
• Familiarity with process safety, environmental compliance, process control, statistics, heat and mass transfer, and unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot production, quality, reliability, and environmental issues.
• Support optimization of furnish quality, refining, drainage, and energy usage.
• Participate in mill trials, root cause investigations, and follow-up actions.
• Create and maintain process documentation, operating guidance, and reports.
• Collaborate with operators to understand constraints and reinforce proper operating practices.
• Support projects from scope development to performance validation.
• Work in alignment with safety standards and regulatory expectations.
