Job summary

Audubon Companies in Houston's Energy Corridor is seeking a Process Engineering Associate I to perform entry level process engineering assignments related to designing equipment, components, structures or systems under supervision.

You will gather vendor information, prepare basic specifications and sketches, review drawings for compliance, and collaborate with clients and vendors while adhering to HSSE standards and project schedules.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• Chemical Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and record information from vendor drawings and manuals to develop engineering specs.
• Under supervision, prepare basic specifications detailing client requirements and design codes.
• Prepare basic sketches and perform basic engineering calculations.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Track and maintain schedule and budget for projects.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and reporting requirements.
• Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions per program.
