Printpack Inc. is seeking an entry-level Press Assistant to support press operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will assist the Press Operator, monitor quality, help with material handling, and keep equipment clean and safe.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team. The role offers training and opportunities for advancement within Printpack's packaging operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support press operator with quality monitoring and efficiency improvements.
• Manage ink and coating systems including viscosity control and maintenance.
• Handle materials: roll preparation, loading, splicing, and waste removal.
• Perform equipment maintenance and participate in Preventative Maintenance.
• Operate equipment safely and assist with changeovers and print cylinders.
• Prepare pre-setup materials for efficient job transitions.
• Maintain waste procedures and manage inventory of consumables.
• Support QA processes and maintain cleanliness per safety protocols.
