Job summary

Walden’s Machine in Tulsa, OK is seeking an entry level assembly mechanic to join a 24‑hour facility. Under direct supervision you will perform basic assembly tasks, read technical documents and work instructions, and use templates and fixtures to fit parts.

You will use basic hand tools and simple inspection devices, maintain a clean work area, and support other duties as needed. 0–1 years experience and a GED or HS diploma preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Basic assembly tasks under supervision.
• Reading prints and work instructions.
• Using templates, jigs and fixtures for part fit.
• Verifying dimensions with basic measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• With direct supervision, load components on fixtures and assemble.
• Perform basic inspection for alignment, cleanliness and fastening.
• Maintain area organization and cleanliness throughout shift.
• Use computers and other devices for basic tasks.
• Other duties as needed by the business.
