Job summary

Alcrete is seeking a Precast Operator in New York to safely complete the manufacturing of precast concrete structures from start to finish. You will set up, pour, finish, and strip out concrete products shipped to customers; training is provided and no prior experience is required.

You will work standard 8–10 hour shifts Monday through Friday, follow all safety procedures, wear PPE, and maintain a clean work area while handling lifting requirements up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills required for measurement and quantities.
• Ability to follow safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up forms for concrete pours.
• Pour concrete into precast forms.
• Finish concrete surfaces and structures.
• Strip and clean concrete forms and structures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
