Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an entry-level Engineering Technologist to support design and evaluation of electrical facilities for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role emphasizes safety, basic design skills, and learning client workflows while handling data entry and design software.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 year in power distribution, familiarity with GIS/CAD tools, and a drive to develop professional skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or GED required.
• Preferred: AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in non-engineering science, math, or business.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Apply codes, requirements, regulations, and procedures to work.
• Develop skills to safely conduct job-site visits with construction personnel.
• Prepare project and job packages with materials lists, labor estimates and drawings.
• Communicate job status to meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Maintain organized files and records.
• Mentor under experienced personnel and PE supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
